HR Contractor

Job description

The ideal person is a self-starter and is able to work independently while expanding the breadth of their human resources knowledge. Our offerings include but are not limited to: HR Health Check Ups, Employment Manuals/Handbooks and Policies, Recruitment Processes, Terminations, Training and Development, OH&S, Performance Management and Compensation, Payroll and Group Benefits, Business Coaching, Retreats and Fractional HR Services.

Responsibilities

  • HR Administration as required
  • Knowledge of current Provincial Employment Standards (BC, AB, ON)
  • Customization of Handbook/Manuals and Policies Updates for different clients in different Provinces
  • Construction of Job Descriptions and Job Ads
  • Performing and Evaluating HR Health Check Ups
  • Liaison between group benefits suppliers
  • Research for current HR methodologies
  • Recruitment/Sourcing
  • Maintain Filing System in Google Drive
  • Communication with Clients via email and telephone

Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
  • University Education, CPHR preferred
  • Experience working in Human Resources - minimum 3 years
  • Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Sheets
